I couldn't help myself when I saw this at my favorite antique mall in Door County. I later found out that it's actually not vintage, just retro, but I couldn't pass up that almost-dalahäst. plus I did kind of want another casserole in that size anyway.

I'm a sucker for free things, most times. but most especially free books. I had yet to read Stargirl, and after I did, I reshelved both of these at a free little library in my dad's neighborhood.

my most local state park is the one I've spent the least amount of time at, at least of all the ones I've been to. I'm sure it's a nice place, but the weather just hasn't been the greatest for exploring or I just haven't been in the right mindset whenever I've been there. maybe next time.
